Your foot changes size through the day
In warm weather the foot expands and can gain up to half a size between morning and evening. A rigid strap that fits at nine leaves a mark by six. An elastic strap follows that change instead of fighting it, which is why blisters do not appear.
Flat and heeled
The flats are the everyday pair, with a light sole and a wide strap over the instep. The heeled ones, 3.5 to 6 cm, are for a wedding or an event. If you want something more closed for mid-season, a court shoe with an elastic closure does the same job.
